Chinese medicine is a complete and very powerful medical system that puts the patient front and center. It has a long history of treating infertility, pregnancy, women's health and more. My approach builds on that knowledge while incorporating research, modern technology and science. I get to the root of the problem and show you how to address it. Are you ready to sow the seeds for a more vibrant, fertile life?
I'm a fellow of the Acupuncture and TCM board of Reproductive Medicine (FABORM). I also have an Advanced Level Diploma in Fertility Acupuncture, an elite certification in treating infertility and pregnancy complications. There are just a few of us in the entire U.S.!
I also have an extensive background in fitness. I was a certified exercise physiologist (ACSM) for 20 years and am currently a Yoga Medicine-certified yoga instructor and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM). I've dedicated hundreds of hours to studying sports acupuncture.
In 2024 I completed a certification in Integrative and Functional Nutrition (IFNA), something I've been wanting to do for years. I incorporate this expertise into my treatment plans as a way to bring the utmost level of precision and personalization to our work together.
Finally, as a longtime health journalist, I've covered health, fitness, nutrition and more for national magazines and websites. I'm co-author (with Mark Moyad, MD) of The Supplement Handbook, a research-based guide to using supplements responsibly for various health conditions.

It's dog-centered: Feed the dogs, snuggle with the dogs over coffee and scrolling The New York Times, then walk the dogs.
HGTV — I can't get enough of those home makeover shows as well as cooking shows. I want to hang out with Ina Garten.
